Richard Frenneaux shares dreamy debut single ‘Arcades’ – Reignland

‘Arcades’ is the debut single from Brisbane-based songwriter and producer Richard Frenneaux. He is also the ex-frontman of the post-punk band Red Light Company. This dreamy bedroom pop track captivates the listener with his amazing vocals and crisp production.

He said this about the debut in a press release “Arcades is a song about coming to terms with the realization that those halcyon days of summer have to come to an end; the endless cycle of substances, relationships, and games that all meet at the same conclusion. There is that optimism that comes with youthful expression. This quickly turns from carefree to dysphoria and you discover that you’re doing it to yourself.”

According to his bio Richard Frenneaux started as the songwriter, frontman, and producer of the 5 piece post-punk band Red Light Company (signed to Sony ATV/ Columbia Records), achieving a number 13 album in the UK charts, selling over 20k copies in the first week of release. They also toured internationally alongside artists such as Editors and The Killers.
