Nicholas Wells has released a classic Christmas track just in time for the holidays. ‘I Haven’t Wrapped A Single Gift’ is an original fun Christmas song about running behind on Christmas shopping. It was added to a Spotify Christmas editorial playlist, and has spun over 20,000 times in retail shops’ radio in a week. The accompanying video sets the mood perfectly for the cheery day. The song is apart of a two track project called ‘One Little Season’.

Queen Naija questions the future of her relationship on her new track titled “Good Morning Text.” On the Lil Ronnie-produced single, Naija shines vocally as she points out all the sweet things her lover used to do. As the clues begin to add up, she wonders if he is losing interest in her which many of us can relate to.

Singer and Songwriter,Taylor Jasmine has released a short trailer for her long awaited debut album ‘Dear Me’ and from the looks of it , it’s going to be a more open side of the singer.

The album, which contains 14 tracks including three already released tracks (Bang, Red, Good Thing), is available for pre-order now and expected to drop March 14th through Kalombo Records. Mike Kalombo tweeted that it was completed on January 14th.

Taylor’s first big solo project, after leaving the popular Atlanta group CHARM, was ‘IMF’, It was a mixtape that was released three years ago and introduced the solo artist as someone that was going to take the scene by storm.

She eventually went on to release more singles, starred on Lifetimes The Pop Game’ and then drop an EP entitled ‘Hot Stuff’. Now it is 2019 and Taylor is ready to pour her heart out on her debut album and I couldn’t be more excited.

Chesapeake VA May 5th, 2019 – Gold Crwn Magazine has announced a name change for its publication via social media today. The publications new name is ’Reignland Magazine’. The name change comes a week after the publications 37th issue was released.

The editor in chief, Ella Audrey Rae has this to say about the name change ’The name Reignland has been stuck in my head since my teen years but I honestly didn’t know where it fit. The name Gold Crwn was the beginning of what Reignland is going to be. Reignland stands for self empowerment. The publication has always celebrated creators who reign over their craft and with this new branding we will continue to do so, better.”

The name change will take affect starting today on all social media handles, emails and urls. Previous issues will still keep the same Gold Crwn branding and still be available. Issue 39 will become the first issue with the new branding.

In my spare time, I do other creative things aside from the magazine. One of those things is being the PR for a local rapper and producer named Plvxid or Placid. Over the weekend, I got the chance to experience his first listening party to promote his debut album, EAST$IDE. The album is set to be released on September 12th via all major streaming services. The listening party, also known as The EAST$IDE Workshop, was an experience like no other. The workshop, held at the legendary Radio Ready Studios in Norfolk, started off with artist apart of the album getting free studio time to apply their verses. It also allowed invitees to be apart of the album in skits, hooks and more After all the finishing touches we’re placed, everyone gathered into the big room that sits in the front of the building and took in the introduction of Plvxid as a whole.

As I looked around, heads were bobbing, and facial expressions told a story. I realized that this was his time and everyone knew it as well. PlvXid had been my best friend inc the 7th grade. I watched him go through many different stages as a person and a music artist. He had many to doubt him, but he never let those doubters steer I’m away from the greatness he knew he had within himself. Throughout this journey, he remained humble and focused. By the end of the night, listeners wanted the album to drop immediately. “A month?” meany asked in sadness. “The new month is tomorrow,” he said to reassure his new and old fans that were lucky enough to attend the party that the wait wasn’t going to be long. I couldn’t be more proud of his journey and this project then I am at this moment. I can’t wait for the world to hear his voice and his creative ability. He will be great, and everyone will know it.
