Demeter releases new single, ‘Last Year’ – Reignland

Demeter is back with a new single, ‘Last Year’. This track has a folk melody infused with some rock and orchestral feels. Her vocals have so much emotion and soul in it. The chrous is powerful and will send gosebumps down your arms. It sounds like home.

It speaks about being separated from the life you want, the people you love, and the hopes you’ve had, and the struggle to get back to someplace “good.” Kate sings “absence can kill, absence can kill,” and you feel lyrics hold power like an honest note to self. It ends in a swirl of brass and strings. It’s intimate, and giant and a great song. Be sure to add this to your playlist.

Ben DeHan Timberlake shares new upbeat track, ‘Road’ – Reignland

Alt/ Indie Artist, Ben Dehan Timberlake is back with a new single, ‘Road’. The track reminds me of Owl City with its captivating synth melody and soothing pop elements. His vocals are electric and flow so perfectly with the background of the track, almost sounding like a fresh breeze.

“Timberlake Road is named after the street I’ve been living on during the pandemic. It’s about keeping things light and pushing forward through a hard time. Even in isolation, we all need a sense of togetherness.”, he explains. As the guitarist of American Diary, Ben got his start on the Vans Warped Tour alongside bands like Angels and Airwaves, The Academy Is, and Matisyahu. Since then, he has spent countless hours writing and honing a sound that’s both accessible and intelligent and has begun releasing music and playing shows. I can’t wait to hear more of this since it is one of my favorite kinds of music. You need this on your playlist for sure. Leave your feedback below.

LA Trio, WILD shares new single ,’Goin’ Back’ with American Authors frontman, Zac Barnett – Reignland

LA trio, WILD is back with American Authors frontman,Zac Bearnett with new single,’ Goin Back’. The band presents a beautiful melody with glowing vocals that feel like a cool breeze on a summer day. This track takes you on a personal journey that many of us have been on, feeling disconnected and needing to reconnect. Zac’s vocals fit this song perfectly and bring some real power to the verse.

“It’s about feeling disconnected from where you come from,” states Lauren. “Even when you go back, you’re out of place. It’s about the journey you’re taking to feel present and be at home wherever you are. In some ways, it encapsulates an overarching theme for us. We’re talking about friendships, where we live, who our family is, what we’ve been through, and the things that have gotten us to where we are now. We’re showing appreciation and trying to grow.”

The group made waves with their independent debut single “Vagabond” as they unveiled a steady succession of singles, leading up to the 2018 Lace & Layers EP. Averaging 400,000-plus monthly listeners on Spotify, the band tallied 50 million cumulative streams by 2020. Be sure to add your feedback below and let the band know-how you feel.

Dominic Chin released a new track called “Alone”

Singapore pop artist Dominic Chin has released ALONE, the 6th single from his upcoming debut EP License To Cry, via Singapore indie label Umami Records.

In this deeply personal song, the singer-songwriter lays bare his struggles with anxiety disorder. The video to this song was a little hard to watch with guy floating in the water. But the vocals are great, I love the lyrics and I just need you to read the message then leave your feedback below.

Gia Sky released a great new track called “Follow” – Reignland

Gia Sky released a nice new track called “Follow” My name is Gia. I make an effort to write songs that mirror what is going on in my head. I don’t view life as easy – but then again – some would say I tend to take the occasional harder route, though not on purpose. I love to experience life how I want to experience it, and not in a way I feel I’m supposed to. This is a lovely upbeat track that I can get into. The vocals with excellent background harmony are crazy cool.  Good music to dance to. Enjoy, then please leave your feedback below.

chima releases new single, ‘still jaded’ (prod. Ashlen Jordan) – Reignland

chima releases a new single titled, ‘Still Jaded’. The track is smooth and really puts you in your feelings. His smooth tone when rapping fits the track so well. I love the way he expresses his emotions and the way he sings a little as well. This Ashlen Jordan produced track is so crisp and has that drake vibe to it.

Since 2018, Chima’s been consistently dropping new material every few months, aiming to blur the lines between hip-hop influences and alt-R&B contemporaries. Upcoming single “still jaded” stands out as his most vulnerable track yet, taking this time of pandemic-induced solitude to break down relationships, mental health, and career aspirations.

august brodie shares fire new single, ‘killing me’ – Reignland

august brodie is back at it again with another anthem to extend your summer. An anthem outlining the perils of uncertainty in love and life itself but with a feel-good alternative pop-punk rock feel. The soft guitar plucks paired with his breezy vocals create such an intimate but upbeat melody.

“I’m at a point in my life where I don’t know what the hell I’m doing, it’s killing me literally. I think so many people act like they have it figured all out, but there’s an uncertainty in there somewhere that maybe this isn’t the right path. Whether that be in your love life or life’s path in general and that’s why I wrote “killing me”, he explains.

He continues, “so many people are scared to do what they love and i think that’s fucked up. go do what you love so that when you’re older looking back you can’t regret you didn’t.”

This track is produced by toronto’s own Dutch Revz, and mixed and mastered by Dominic “Dot” Okune who has worked with Ali Gatie, Jon Vinyl, anders, and much more up and coming artists from Canada. I can’t wait to hear more from this artist.

Nell Bryden gears up for new full project with the release of ‘These Changes’ visual – Reignland

Nell Bryden is gearing up for her full project with the release of the visual for her new single, ‘These Changes’. The lovely track brings such a beautiful melody with it that you can’t let go of. The vocals are outstanding and have such a range. The visual is an amazing representation of the track with its lush colors and gorgeous makeup.

She explains, “During the quarantine, I wrote a new song which reflects all that I’ve been through and where I am now, called ‘These Changes,’ and this has become the 21st single. I’d recently signed a publishing deal with BMG, and had been taking an acoustic engineering class to record better demos. When everyone was ordered to stay home, I found myself in the lucky position of being able to continue working, even though I was geographically separated from my band as I was home in New York and they were based in the UK. For my new single “These Changes,” I tracked my vocals and guitars in my apartment, while Ali did his keys in Scotland, Seb played drums and Ben recorded cello from their flats in London, and Dave tracked his guitar from his houseboat on the Thames. We sound like a band because we know each other so well, although we are in different places around the world. Even the song was written remotely: Jeff Cohen and I composed it over FaceTime, because I knew I wanted to work with him again after “Amy.” “These Changes” is a song about weighing up the different sides of a decision, and how heartbreaking and challenging life can be. I’ve worked hard to find my voice; I’ve found strength in sticking up for who I am. Life really does fly by, and I’m doing my best to make the most of it.

The Singles Collection will be releasing on September 4th. The anthology, featuring all twenty independently-released singles from the last thirteen years, showcases the New York-born artist’s clean sweep of 20 consecutive playlisted tracks on the radio. Be sure to leave your feedback below.
