Justin the Flora God releases new single, ‘Forevermore’ – Reignland

Justin the Flora God has released a new single from his debut EP, Wild Things. Forevermore is an indie-pop melody infused with blends of R&B and rock. The vocals fit the theme of this song so well as they are low toned and filled with emotion. The single was inspired by a documentary titled, Nothing is Eternal. It was about a Norwegian alternative pop artist by the name of Aurora.

“Forevermore was made in hopes to capture the idea that music is wild and alive. The documentary forever changed the way I view music, and I now treat it as a living, breathing thing. It is constantly changing and evolving alongside you, and I wanted Forevermore to reflect that.” he says.

He continues, “The first line “Do you believe in magic?” was taken directly from the documentary. I wanted to create a fantastical atmosphere in this track and across the whole Wild Things EP. The feeling of floating was also very important, there’s a scene in Breaking Bad where Jesse Pinkman has just taken some concoction of substances and begins floating above his room. I thought that the combined sense of living wildly and living freely was an important thematic concept to try to hold in this song. On the surface level though, it’s just your average love song. But if you listen closely, it’s much more than that.”

You can get the full EP now or just stream this track. I can’t wait to see what he does next.
