California based Singer-songwriter and producer, Jordan Acosta shares a new single titled, ‘Cliche Love’. The track is smooth R&B infused with pounding pop rhythms that create this smooth experience. She explores universal emotions and encounters through her personal lyricism – connecting with her audience through shared experiences. Her vocals remind me of the early 2000’s R&B artists such as Paula Deandrea or Jojo with the way their vocals just sound like silk on these tracks. Her runs with the added background vocals are so good and really add some attitude to the track.
“‘Cliché Love” dives into the experience of a person in an unfaithful relationship that is struggling with wantingto be with someone while knowing the relationship should end”, Jordan explains. “When you love a person so much, you can’t let go no matter what. Sometimes a faithful partner wishes a relationship would be normal but it’s not. When the relationship is not working, a person can feel trapped and confused about what to do.”
Jordan is currently balancing her studies alongside her musical career.
