Alexa Ray releases empowering new single, ‘Fearless’ ahead of next album – Reignland

Singer-songwriter Alexa Ray reveals “Fearless” the title track off her next album, Fearless coming this Fall. In this track, she explains that being fearless means standing up for your dreams in spite of everything that might get in the way. Her powerful vocals delivery such empowering lyrics from the dynamic melody to the catchy chrous that will and needs to get stuck in your head. She never ceases to amaze me with her music.

“I wanted people to be left with the message that striving for acceptance isn’t worth it. You’re on the planet to be you and no one else. Every time you take a dive against who you are or what you believe in I think you lose a little part of yourself. Whether it’s standing up for what you believe in, fighting bullies or just being you to the most authentic degree possible It takes courage. “Fearless” was written as a fight song to stay true to one’s self and who you are even if it means going against the grain of our hypocritical societal standards.” – Alexa Ray

The vocals for the track “Fearless” were engineered by Dajaun Martineau who is known for his work with Canadian talent like Moist, Diemonds, Cancer Bats, Kathleen Edwards, Lydia Ainsworth as well as international acts including Yelawolf/Fefe Dobson, Nico & Vinz, Ghostface Killah, and many more.

“There’s really a strong message in the song I can relate to 100%, so working on this song felt so close to home. The song Fearless was an amazing project to work on, Alexa’s lyrics and vocal tone drove me to do a really bold production of fusing pop with orchestral elements to match.” – Randall Jermaine The world needs positive music like this and I am glad Alexa is joinning in. I cant wait for her full project. Leave your feedback or reaction below.

This is the time of season when people are in the mood for giving, whether it’s warm hugs, hot cocoa, or the hustle and bustle of the shopping malls being filled with excited children visiting old St Nick. One thing for sure we start to search our car radios, or set our music playlist to holiday music. This track will soon be a part of that tradition. I loved every note played and can’t wait to hear more.

KOJ WANTS TO FIND A “HOME’ IN NEW ROCK TRACK – Reignland

KOJ has finally released “Home” . This is the first song from KOJ since 2017. “Home” explores the idea of belonging and finding a home in yourself, that truly feels authentic. It’s about all the confusion and uncertainty that goes along with the search for meaning and purpose in life. Home is the first single of the upcoming album and the result of an intense songwriting and recording process.

KOJ about “Home”:

“Writing and recording Home has been one hell of a journey for us! The song existed in about five different versions already, but we just never seemed to get it to a state where it really felt right. The song is super important to us, as it explores the idea of belonging and what it really means to feel at home with yourself, so we dove deep into songwriting once again in early 2019 and finally recorded the version of Home that we had envisioned in our minds. Home was recorded entirely in our home studio in a very intimate setting. In that way we were able to bring out the essence of the song whilst working with a minimalistic set up to be able to hone in on the underlying emotions of the song.”

KOJ about shooting the music video for “Home”:

“Making the music video for Home was an exciting and creative process, since we did everything ourselves. Parts of the video were shot floating on a river in the middle of the rain, in other parts we were literally dragging our singer through marshy woods and then you have the scenes where we’re dancing in a studio set up… so I guess you could say that we’ve been through a lot in this video! We tried to be bold with the visuals and create two opposite worlds, one which is dark and haunting and another with lots of warmth and movement. The video depicts two opposite worlds. There’s the dark and haunting world where people are controlled by external forces, where they feel powerless and out of control over their own bodies. Then there’s the opposite world where the characters are free in their expression, where they are taking ownership of their own movement, of their bodies. In a way you could say that they are taking that which is working against them and letting it work in their favor. It’s a dance with the impossible. Home was shot entirely in our hometown. Makes sense, right?”

Three musicians. Two brothers. One married couple. This is KOJ. Together they give life to a sound that is full of contrasts, sometimes roaring, untamed and raw, as the ocean that inspires them, other times delicate, fragile and minimalistic.

Mo Troper releases “Jas From Australia” single – Reignland

Mo Trooper releases new single about a long distance relationship entitled “Jas From Australia “ “I wrote this song in 10 minutes about the first relationship I was ever in. It was an internet relationship with someone who I met on a video game forum. It was a really innocent romance characterized by a shared love of Nintendo games that was ultimately corrupted by callowness and message board drama. It was a nightmare coordinating a time to talk on the phone, since we were on other sides of the world and both were in high school. I would fantasize about moving to Melbourne to be with them, but we never met. It’s the millennial “Thirteen.” He said about the single.

Omnietc and Sasha Renee team up to release a new track called “Ween N Hen” – Reignland

Omnietc has teamed up with Sasha Rene to release a brand new track titled ‘Ween N’ Hen. He was not playing around with this one. I loved the way the song starts off with the sounds that come from a D.J.’s turntable. The music is great, it sounds like the music from the 80’s. The female rapper is excellent, love the horns at the end too. The male vocals were great also. The instrumental is by platinum producer Dreamlife. The track was mixed and mastered by Robert Calloway who also has worked with platinum award winning artists.

Henry Nozuka releases new single, ‘Into the Wild’ – Reignland

Toronto based, Singer/Songwriter/Producer, Henry Nozuka has released a new single that will melt your heart titled, ‘Into the Wild’. The track is one of the smoothest I’ve heard. His vocals sounds like butter as he sings each verse. The melodies that overtake this track feel like a fresh breeze or a warm hug. I love how each melody just feed into the next. It’s such a captivating listen and I didn’t even notice the song end because I was so lost in it.

Speaking on the track, “Into the Wild is a search for meaning in life. I wrote this song after reading an imaginative children’s story to my nephew. I wanted to bring the listener into a surreal world, and also reflect upon the nature and journey of my life experience. I was highly influenced by the music of Nick Drake and José González. Musically I wanted to create a minimal arrangement, and portray a mood that is intimate and serene. I wanted to depict the feeling which I get when I listen to Nick Drake’s Pink Moon. Which to me feels like you’re in the room with Nick. I feel that the artwork by Vinyl Cry represents the themes of this song very well in a surreal and suggestive way. Simplicity, a deep sense of peace, and a quest for eternal love.”

This is the first single released off of Henry Nozuka’s debut-album release, “Ember of the Night”. I can’t wait to hear it and if you agree leave feedback below.
