Amai Kuda et Les Bois has released this beautiful song called “Mountain” Mountain is about listening to the Earth and reclaiming sustainable ways of living. My son and I wrote it on a hilltop in Tobago, my maternal homeland. It is about the deep teachings of the spirits of nature or the Orishas as they are called in the West African Yoruba tradition. Such a beautiful sight as mother and son do this together. A beautiful song indeed. The music is great and the lyrics are wonderful to hear and to sing along with. The video is very eye catching with the beach, water and trees being so enticing, I like the rapping skills of the son. Great project!
