Tropico Don shares her new single, ‘Linda McCartney Burgers’. The track is a beautiful acoustic ballad that bleeds nostalgic moments even in the visual. It has a sadness mixed with a playfulness that will pull at your heart strings. It also has a cinematic feel to the melodies that come from it. Her vocals are enchanted and haunting a little as well, reminding me of Lana Del Rwy in the way she sings and what she sings about.
As always, there is an authentic honesty in the lyrics that lie somewhere between raw and poetic. “On one hand, sharing the darkest of my feelings and thoughts has been absolutely terrifying, but to be able to finally translate that vulnerability through artistic expression, and finally make it a strength, too, has been so freeing for me”. The visual serves the song much justice as it plays into the retro aspect of it. Her style is unique and creates a lane of her own.
