The Balcony wants to know “Where Did You Go?” in a new track – Reignland

The Balcony’s latest single, ‘Where Did You Go?’, is a catchy upbeat pop-rock track that tells the age-old tale of the morning after the night before. Engineered by Patrick Jordan (Cut the Record/ Young Rebel Set) and produced by Chad Male (Cape Cub), it’s the second single taken from The Balcony’s debut EP and comes soon after the release of debut single ‘By the Hand’.

The North East might not be the first place you think of when it comes to optimistic indie-pop anthemia, yet that’s exactly where The Balcony hail from. Despite being a band for less than 12 months, the Teesside five-piece have been winning over the hearts and minds of their native North East, channelling the spirit of quintessential indie-pop bands from across the generations and combining it with a contemporary air that in turn elevates them head and shoulders above their contemporaries.

Having already garnered an impressive following across their native North East, picking up the attention of This Feeling along the way, something which resulted in two packed out shows that furthered their already burgeoning reputation, it’s clear that The Balcony are a band with their eyes on the bigger picture, and despite being together for a little under 12 months, it’s clear that the scope of their ambition is matched only by the size of their choruses.
