Terrible sons released a wonderful new track called “Love Will Make Fools” Terrible Sons are determined to make ‘transformative and beautiful’ music. Lauren and Matt Barus write and perform songs that have been described as ‘ethereal’ indie folk. They hail from the South Island of New Zealand, a landscape renowned for its natural beauty but also for the seismic violence that broods beneath; earthquakes tragically altered their hometown of Christchurch in 2010 and 2011.  The music they make uniquely expresses that tension of unease and the unexpected beauty that arises. I enjoyed this song for the great guitar playing, the excellent vocals and background harmony, then the lyrics are really great!
