Suzie Chism shares a beautiful visual for her recent single, ‘Five Minute Face’ – Reignland
Singer-songwriter Suzie Chism is excited to announce Where, her solo debut album. Where is scheduled for release on March 13, 2020 with two singles, “Five Minute Face” is the first single to be released from the album.
The warm embrace the track creates as it starts is unmatched. Her soft vocals feel the song up with lush vibes as the dreamy melodies follow its every move. She reminds me of a version of Lana Del Rey. The visual compliments the track so well as it showcases happy scenes of Suzie. The pink hue on the scenes really create a bubbly and happy visual as intended. I love her style in this video as well as it goes from some vintage rock elements in style to modern day.
Where the Heaven, a documentary film chronicling the production of Where and Chism’s daily life, will accompany the album. Chism will perform at the Outlaw Roadshow at this year’s South by Southwest music and film festival. Formerly the leader of the Nashville-based band Moseley, Chism now resides in Los Angeles.
The album was primarily recorded in Chism’s Hollywood apartment but boasts an all-star lineup of guest players including Chuck Bartels (Sturgill Simpson) and Jesse Stern (Gloria Gaynor, Sly Stone, Dr. Dre) and engineering/mixing by Eddie Spear (Brandi Carlile, A Star Is Born), F. Reid Shippen (Dierks Bentley, Kelsea Ballerini), Paul Cossette (Sturgill Simpson, FIDLAR, The Head and the Heart) and Zack Pancoast (Kasey Musgraves, Willie Nelson). Where is slated for release in March 2020 and will be accompanied by an intimate documentary film, Where the Heaven, which follows the album’s production and Chism’s daily life.
