Shilpa shares new infectious R&B track, ‘Lonely’ – Reignland
Indian-American singer and songwriter Shilpa is not coming to play with her new captivating sultry track, ‘Lonely.’ The songstress delivers outstanding and soothing vocals that glide across the track so effortlessly. The instrumental creates an atmosphere of late nights and chill environments. The tone of this track reminds me of some great RnB artists today such as Kehlani and SZA. During first listen, I kept it on repeat a couple of times. It’s just so smooth and clean.
Speaking on the track, she says;
“As an artist of Indian- American descent, this song is really special to me because Asian Americans are highly underrepresented in the music industry, but every single person involved in this song comes from this background; my co-writers, mixing engineer and even the photographer for the cover art. It’s definitely a story I’m passionate about telling and would be honored if you guys could share that story when the song comes out.”
