PREMIERE: Joel Havea Trio SHARES NEW SINGLE, “Just People” – Reignland

The Joel Havea Trio has released a fantastic new track called “Just People” This group is comprised of Tongan/Australian Singer-Songwriter Joel Havea and his Hamburg based band, Arnd Geise on bass and Leo Lazar on drums. This track is cool as it stresses the fact that we are all just people, not too much is different as we are the same. I love the upbeat cool beat almost jazz-like. The bass guitar and drums are fantastic as they support the wonderful vocals of this fantastic trio. The lyrics are great for the positive message. Loved it.

“The message of this song is simple and an important one in the current climate of right-wing nationalism and populism. This fact is, regardless of what we come from, what we believe and what color our skin is… At the end of the day, we are all just people.”, he explains.
