Clifford released a fantastic new track called “3 AM” I really liked the beat to this song, it has lots of flavor. The background vocals have the best harmony I’ve heard in a while. MKSM is ready to get you on the dance floor with his new single, ‘Be Alright’. The track features energetic 70s disco strings and 80s bass lines that take you on a journey full of fun and bliss. It has such a summery vibe to it that just makes you forget all your problems. I love the soul and attitude in his vocals. The chorus is perfectly crafty and will get suck in your brain for sure. It’s always good to remember the fun and good memories. I love the fact he is bringing this retro sound to a modern day audiance is amazing.

For quite some time, MKSM wasn’t sure whether he would release ‘Be Alright’. With his Cologne based producers from the Maarwegstudio2 the song eventually found its way back “simply because it fits the general mood of many people these days. It’s about appreciating yourself and all the beautiful things that happen around you. Even if reality is tough at times. It’s about the fact that you shouldn’t worry constantly, but accept life with its ups and downs. And just go along with it.”

In 2019, the young artist won the British “LGBTQ Music Award” as “Newcomer of the Year” and his pride hymn ‘Original Self – Enough is Enough’ was recognized as “Song of the Year”, this song supported Germany’s largest LGBTQ organization. This year he was one of the very few European music acts to perform this song on the European Highlights Stage at the virtual “Global Pride 2020” in front of more than 10 million viewers. The GLOBAL PRIDE was supported by queer icons such as Elton John, Adam Lambert and Conchita Wurst.

The Jensen Sisters has released an awesome new track called “Beat of a Bad Habit” Born three years apart and raised in northern Minnesota, Kendra and Kansas began singing together in 2015, when a high-school talent showcase gave the sisters a chance to swap harmonies during a cover of Waylon Jennings’ “Good Hearted Woman.” This is such a nice vibe to listen to while all this craziness is happening in the world right now. The positive energy coming from the music is so uplifting. I loved the vocals with the awesome harmony and terrific instruments showing off their skills. It’s a great project. Silver Twins of Funk ft. M-Rock has released a cool new track called “FEAL REAL” An oldies but goodies vibe is what I felt immediately! I love the video for this song, the dance scenes with the shiny ball hanging from the ceiling. Great music is what you get in this track for sure. The lyrics are really cool. Sheers has released a beautiful new track called “God’s $1” Sheers’ front person Lily Breshears wrote “God’s $1” while on a month-long tour with Haley Heynderickx. The harp part was conceived on a family’s piano in North Carolina, and the lyrics were written in the back of the van. This track has an interesting twang to it because of the harp, it’s a rare sound in this kind of song. The vocals are unique as well but you just can’t stop listening to it. Ty Richard and Kaya release an inspiring new track called “Heart Worth Taking”. “The track compares the fading loves of the world with the eternal love of God. It discusses the struggle that one faces when choosing between the two. The video brings the song to life in the most beautiful way. They are like a dream collaboration especially when their voices mesh into each other. The song is very effective and does touch one’s soul if they really listen. The vocals of each are smooth as silk and pull at your heartstrings. I’ve never heard gospel music like this but it is next level for sure. I need more of this collaboration. JUICYPEAR released this lovely track called “Golden Sky”. “The story behind JUICYPEAR is, at first, it was a complete joke,” laughs Jasmine Mayeda, one half of the duo that she’s in along with her husband, Jacob. “Jacob and I were thinking of starting a band and he joked that it would be funny to write slow R&B love jams and call ourselves ‘JUICYPEAR’ because not only is it a hilarious pun—because we are a duo; we’re a ‘pair… pear’—but because he knew I would never ever go for that name. But after jokingly sharing it with our producers and friends they were like ‘WE LOVE IT!’” I love the video to this song, it’s really cute with the amazing animation especially the paper airplane flying pass. I loved the lyrics in the video also. The song itself is so special, the background vocals with the great harmony really did a fine job of supporting the lead vocals. Great project. Nashville based rock band, The Criticals are back with new electrifying new single, ‘High Life Clinic’. The track is high powered with its guitar melodies and consistent drums that create the foundation of the track. The overall vibe reminds me of some old school rock from the early 2000s. It sounded like a classic. The lead vocals are so insane, he can make them intense and chill in a matter of seconds so effortlessly you don’t even notice.

Speaking on the track, they said, “This is a fight song. We wrote and tracked this song live in a cabin in Turtletown, TN. We airbnbed a cabin deep in the Ocoee wilderness with 2 gallons of wild turkey our studio gear and an engineer for three days to write and record. This was the first song we finished: High Life Clnic. We were away from our lives in the city and looking for trouble in the East TN mountains, so we wrote this song about a night that we were craving.”

Parker and Cole had played music together in a stream of bands in the Nashville DIY scene for nearly a decade, before deciding to join forces. They set their sites on creating a band built on youth, honesty, and lust for life, putting out a stream of singles throughout 2019. Since the release of the band’s first single, “Homebody,” The Criticals have been able to attract global attention. With articles from Earmilk, Popdust, Brooklyn Vegan, and Come Here Floyd, the band has not only been able to captivate their DIY roots but also music critics alike. Their much-anticipated debut EP is coming November 8, 2019. I need more form this band. They make me want to pull out my air guitar and start going in.
