Konarucchi is definitely in love in his debut single, ‘Her Glow’. The track is a pop-rock inspired hit with small alt elements. The track has a summer feel to it with it’s rocking guitar melodies and low tone vocals. It kind of reminds me of some of Paramore’s music. I love the part of the track that gets loud, the guitars bring intensity and really make you rock out with awesome vocals to match. According to his press release, the song follows the story of a couple through different stages of their life, from the perspective of Sid (the male character in the artwork). It is the first single off his debut EP ‘Stuck in Daydreams’.

Konarucchi is a multi-genre solo artist from a small town in New Zealand called Wainuiomata. Konarucchi mostly performs solo acoustic or with his alt-pop-rock band Pale Lady but has been practicing with a backing band of honed musicians in order to play the full versions of the songs from this EP.

“Keep Them Talking” is a island vibe track that includes a dancy installment, great rapping and catchy chorus.

He says this about the track “Keep Them Talking is most definitely a collaboration highlight for me. Bringing together new artists and friends from literally all over the world on a single track was difficult but the end result is worth it. Having Marlon Asher’s reggae stylings mixed with raps from King Green of RDGLDGRN and rhythm from Ballyhoo!…layered with my guitar tracks is a lot of diversity in one song and something I’m super proud to have produced. This is a beachy party song but I think message is clear — do whatever makes you happy. Follow that mantra and you’ll “Keep Them Talking”.”

He’s been been playing guitar for over 20 years, handling lead guitar duties for the Chicago band Shanghai Superstars (2010 – 2012), Fiction 20 Down (2012 – 2015), Big Infinite (2015 – 2018 ), and now finally branching out to start his own venture. Through his previous bands, he’s toured the country, won Maryland’s Breakout Artist of the Year, charted on iTunes, released 1 LP, 1 Live Album, 1 EP, 1 Mixtape, 4 singles, had one single become a semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition, and received endorsements from Dean Markley Strings and Paul Reed Smith Guitars.

Singer and model, Erika Costell has released a summer hit, Thots Not Feelings. The song focusses on a previous relationship that has fallen apart due to the guy’s immaturity with wanting ‘Thot’s’ over actual love knowing that he actually hates that lifestyle and just doing it to make Costell jealous but obviously it isn’t working.

Jenny Bright released a beautiful new track called “Touch you”The 22-year old Country-Pop singer grew up in a rural area called the Black Forest and is a real country girl. At the age of 12 Jenny Bright got bored singing other people’s songs and started writing her own music. Sitting on her bed writing stories about the little things in life that make a big difference became her favorite thing to do. I think this is of the most beautiful songs I’ve heard in awhile. Rock band, Skittish is back with new single, ‘Car Crash Companion’ from their new LP due out in late September. The band speaks on trying to stay focus in this new pop masterpiece. It conatins an amazing guitar melody that guides the classic drum sounds in the background. The lead vocalsit has such amazing vocals that fit the tone of the song so perfectly especially when the powerful chrous comes in.

‘Better Out than In’ is the 6th Skittish album and the latest highlight in the band’s 12-year history that includes placements on MTV, Lifetime Movies, and Showtime’s ‘Shameless.’ As well as national tours, three top 100 CMJ charting albums, and two Independent Music Award nominations in 2016 for Album and Single of the year.

Looking back at the last decade, Noller remarks, “Its hard not to get sentimental. The support for Skittish albums has given me the independence and creative outlet I love so much. Every day I’m thankful for the people that like what I do. Hopefully, the music makes them feel less alone, because their connection certainly has done that for me.” I can’t wait for the full project.
