MUST WATCH: Vacation Manor releases visual for new single, ‘Apt. 4’ – Reignland
Virginia duo Vacation Manor—Nathan Towles and Cole Young—release their new breezy visual, ‘Apt. 4’ for their latest single. The track feels like a breath of fresh air with a stunning acoustic melody and delicate drums. The duo’s lush vocals are blissful and light, drifting through the song so effortlessly as it creates a nineties pop.
The song examines the push-and-pull of a relationship. Nathan explains, “I had just gotten married last year. The song is about wanting to be home. I don’t want to be okay with being gone all the time. Simultaneously, I don’t want to be so caught up in that feeling that I’m not enjoying where I’m at when I am away. It’s got a lot of tension.”
The visual has a vintage look with hues of soft yellows and greens with beautiful aesthetics that are to die for. Every angle in the video is aesthetically pleasing and makes the song even better. Can we talk about how the plants look so perfect sitting beside the lead singer ( who also looks amazing)? I mean everything about this visual just puts you in your feelings. The way the lead singer keeps looking at the camera directly as it moves gives the video an intimate feeling, almost like he’s talking directly to you.
Vacation Manor have been making music together since 2016. The indie rock/pop duo’s debut EP, Girl, Say, yielded fan favorites such as “A Toast and a Spirit” and “Careless.” On its heels, 2018’s Everything I Can’t Say Out Loud elevated their total streams past 25 million. In 2019, they reteamed with Girl, Say producer Kyle Cummings and wrote and recorded their new EP, Thoughts In Progress, Pt. 1, which will be their first release via their new label home, Nettwerk
They will release their new much-anticipated EP, Thoughts In Progress, Pt. 1 on September 18th. I can’t wait to hear it and if you can’t let them know in the comments.
