Having started songwriting at the mere age of 7, Lauren (now 24) has developed herself into a one-stop-shop for chart-worthy pop songs; writing and producing from her modest home studio. “This song is about female empowerment and saying to a partner “I like you, but I don’t need you”, demonstrating independence, self-sufficiency, and strength. It is also about not taking any sh*t, and that sassy attitude is demonstrated in the lyrics and the production of the song.”, she says about the cool track.
