GRAMN. shares new lofi single, ‘Coaster Boy’ – Reignland

East London singer, songwriter, and storyteller Aux, Coaster Boy is GRAMN’s latest single. This lofi track is addictive with it’s 90’s R&B vibes and exceptional vocals. The layered vocals on the chorus are so fire and then the way she takes you low in the third verse with her sensual vocals layered over soft adlibs and a change of beat just makes this an instant smash. It’s so different in a good way, she basically creates her own lane.

“Coaster boy is a message to everyone who’s been sketchy around me, like they wanna be around me but at the same time they’re not comfortable with it. Maybe because I don’t fit somehow or whatever – I’m saying I’m easy – I’ll do me regardless, why don’t you do you, chill, roll up and coast along with me. If you just let it happen, we can get along”, she says.

The track is on her new EP MEDIUMN. Working as a backing vocalist for Iggy Azealia at the tender age of 18, it wasn’t until precocious lead vocalist Aux starting working exclusively with boundary-pushing producers and multi-instrumentalists James Lowe and Johnny Tomlinson, that GRAMN. was born. I can’t wait to see where she takes this.
