GOLDA performs acoustic version of single “Villain”, ahead of new EP – Reignland

Elusive Berlin-based duo GOLDA has released a stripped back, acoustic version of their single “Villain”, as part of their upcoming remix EP later this month. The single brings listeners into a more personal atmosphere as the song is just the piano and smooth soulful vocals. It shows their fans how amazing live performances would be once they appear on tour.

GOLDA is a still pretty much anonymous duo with a unique approach to contemporary R&B. We learned that they choose Berlin as their homebase to create dark, sweaty, drug-infested tracks. With their soundscapes & lyrics, they are trying to make sense of a certain type of woman. Fascinating and bewildering at the same time. Pervertedly extrovert, yet inexplicably shy

They followed up their debut EP with the announcement of  a diverse and complete Remix EP treatment. Following on from “NsfW  Remix” by DRKTMS, and a KAYTRANADA-esque take on “Jaded” by Aussie producer Tentendo
