Ed Hawke is ‘Staring Up At The Sky’ in new single – Reignland

Melbourne based multi instrumentalist, Ed Hawke has released a brand new track called “Staring Up At The Sky” Hailing from creative hub – Melbourne Victoria, artist Ed Hawke began learning the art of the guitar and writing songs at the age of 13. I really liked the upbeat and feel-good vibe I felt from this track, the lyrics are very creative and easy to sing along to. I loved the guitar, drums and keyboard as they meshed together so smoothly.

According to his pres release, Staring up at the Sky is the sonic representation of freeway driving, with the wind in your hair, sunglasses on and the inspiration you find in the seemingly endless horizon.

“I found a new inspiration, peace and direction in the open horizons and hills, only to find that when I returned home, my life in Melbourne was the same as how I’d left it. Making those changes and reigniting that inspiration was going to be a long and slow process. It’s about separation, and longing to be somewhere that you’re not.” Great job!
