Brett Gleason releases new single, ‘Second Guess’ – Reignland

Brett Gleason has released a new single, Second Guess. This is the second single that leads up to his self produced the third album coming soon. I love that the melody reminds me of an Elton John type song. The heavy piano plays really add a cinematic feature to the track. His vocals also create like a live concert type feel, absolutely beautiful.

‘I started writing ‘Second Guess’ ten years ago to cheer myself up after a bad night’ Brett explains, ‘but after an upbeat chorus the song didn’t go anywhere because I wasn’t ready to do the hard work of understanding why I look outside myself for approval instead of within – only recently was I read to return with the perspective you hear in the darker, more analytical verses’ 

An outspoken bipolar advocate and out artist, Gleason knows what it’s like to live an intense life outside the mainstream & this unique perspective bleeds directly into his music, serving as a conduit for his experiences.
