Brett Castro releases a nostalgia rnb bop titled, ‘How Did You Know?’ – Reignland

Brett Castro is here to bring you a nostalgia R&B bop with a modern twist on his new single ‘How Did You Know?’ Castro fuses pop, folk and 2000’s Justin Timberlake-est R&B styles to create an addictive sound that blends together well with his captivating vocals. I was hooked from the first note. His falsetto is a different story, it sends you on a beautiful journey through his story of heartbreak and learning to move over. Brett Castro recently signed with London-based label frtyfve to release this project.

Castro co-wrote and produced this song with Jonah Shai, who recently reached the charts with his work on Dermot Kennedy’s debut album. The same night his relationship ended, Castro later went to confide in Shai. The conversation turned into this gem. They wrote and produced the track in one night. “I remember recording the vocal around 5 AM,” Castro says. “My whole body, my voice, my heart was so exhausted. But the feeling was too certain and too strong to stop. I went to bed at the sunrise, and it made me feel a little better.”
