Arkells isn’t ‘Quitting You’ in new feel-good single + visual – Reignland

Arkells returns with their brand new single “Quitting You”, which includes a dope visual as well. The visual was self-shot by band frontman Max Kerman in one take on an iPhone 11 Pro. It is filled with vibrant colors and happy moments of the band in the middle of a beautiful piece of land. This is a feel good song with a folk foundation infused with a bit of rock elements as well. The lead singers vocals have such an emotional sound to them that just makes you fall in love every time you hear the song.

While Arkells were knee-deep working on their next studio album, the quarantine forced them to take four months physically apart – the longest they’d ever spent off the road. This pause did not slow them down but rather presented a new path. It is an intimate song about finding comfort in the people closest to you and was inspired by Arkells’ upcoming Campfire Chords project, out August 20.

Campfire Chords is a stripped-back collection of Arkells’ most beloved songs and marks the band’s first full-length presentation of this side of their music. This whole track is beautiful and I can’t wait to hear the full version. Leave your feedback below.
