Alice Limoges releases new visual for “No One Underneath” – Reignland

NYC singer and songwriter, Alice Limoges has released a beautiful new track & visual for “No One Underneath” I really liked the video to this song, It was a nice view with the artist at the piano. I loved the heavy keyboard supporting the vocals, I really enjoyed the drums and the background harmony as it flowed into the vocals. The lyrics are so real and familiar to so many, sad but true that many will be able to connect to this. She also enlisted the help of Todd Carter to help co-write the single.

Speaking on the track, “I wrote this song at the end of a relationship with a manipulative addict. I felt like during the relationship, I’d been swallowed up by him and lost so much of myself. For most of my relationships, I’ve had this problem: I get so immersed in the relationship that I slip away and can’t be my best self. At the same time, I was dealing with tendinitis in both arms and stopped being able to play music, so that crucial aspect of myself was lost too. Todd Carter of The Looking and I started writing together and this song fell out of me. We brought it to Jonathan Jetter of Rigth Angle recording who finished the track and mixed/mastered it. Aidan Macaluso helped us make this music video in my home with art direction by Mariah Johnson.”

The song also became a semi-finalist in the 2019 International Songwriting CompetitionGreat work on this project. Be sure to listen above and please leave your feedback below. Add this to your playlist today.
