17-year old artist, a kid named rufus has released a new track called “Friends” This song is cool, I like the way the song started with just the vocals and the keyboard. I love the rhythm of the lyrics, the way he sings the vocals. make you bob your head to the music and it’s not hard to pick up the words to sing along. Great work on this project.
According to his press release, his fourth single, ‘friends’ is another testament to that, narrating experiences of ‘losing’ friends to growing up and experiencing things natural to adolescence. He questions them of their actions – ‘why’s the liquor from the cupboard on your favorite blouse?’ – and exclaims ‘where did all my best friends go?’, with the help of moody plucks and space in the production, only to be filled with a warm punch of energy towards the conclusion of the record.
