Sofia Strand releases a powerful new track, ‘Can’t Move’ – Reignland
Sofia Strand kills her newest single, ‘Can’t Move.’ The singer really shines on this track as her vocals flow perfectly with this mix. Can’t Move is different from Sofia’s first single, Trouble. Where Trouble was a happy and exciting song with an uplifting dance beat Can’t Move shows a darker side of Sofia’s personality. The song goes from being soft and dreamy to dark with a powerful bass that drives the song forward. The cover art defiantly matches that mood as it shows two sides, a dreamy pop side, and a dark side. She speaks of confusion and not knowing what do with it which makes this song extremely relatable.
Sofia describes the song “I want this song to help others like it helped me writing it. I went through a tough and dark period in my life and things happened out of my control. Can’t Move describes the feeling when you’re stuck in your own head and get almost paralyzed by all the thoughts and emotions. Maybe someone else can relate to that feeling as well.”
Sofia Strand is a commercial pop singer who is now based in London. The 24-year-old grew up surrounded by music where she began to perform from an early age. Sofia found her voice and what she wanted to say with her music after moving to London in 2016 to study Popular Music Performance Vocals at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) which allowed her to develop her creative flare and artistry and commit to writing songs in a more serious and dedicated way.
