Peri El releases new jazz single, ‘Tired of You’ – Reignland
“Tired of You” is from Peri El’s Shades of Blue EP, which came out on April 3rd. According to the press release it is a classic breakup anthem, with relatable themes about not feeling needed and being better off now. The track is a jazz masterpiece. Her vocals are so warm and lush. With the added Jazz solo towards the end, it adds fire and flavor to the track like never before.
Peri describes, “I wrote this song after a breakup with my first real relationship. I felt really connected to this person but I just couldn’t trust him. I was tired of all the trouble he was causing me and the sleepless nights worrying about him.” Shades of Blue tells the story of resiliency, staying positive, and the importance of knowing who you are. “All of the songs on this EP are inspired by getting knocked down and then rising up. Those experiences came out of the blue and that’s what led me to the EP name,” explains Peri.
I can’t wait to see what comes next. This is for a sure one of my favorites this year. Add this to your playlist and leave your feedback below.
