GWYLO has released a new track called “Came To Say Goodbye” – Reignland

GWYLO has released a new track called “Came to Say Goodbye” A nice upbeat track that’s easy to dance to. The beat is positive and almost the vibe of a TV ad, I love the beat of the drums as it compliments the fantastic vocals, cool just to listen to.

According to his press release, The enigmatic British producer/DJ was born in Hong Kong and had already lived in 5 different countries by the time he was 18 years old. With each move, he would bid farewell to his friends, in most cases never to see them again. Music became his constant companion and, having taught himself to play his Dad’s guitar, GWYLO was already writing songs by the age of 12.

Having collaborated with YOUNOTUS and the legend Kris Menace on a couple of releases, he now steps out on his own with his first release on Sony RCA. The name GWYLO – the affectionate Cantonese term for Ex-Patriots living in Hong Kong – is a tribute to the country of his birth and his childhood – a great source of inspiration for his music.

“The song is about those brutal moments where you are confronted with the inesca-pable fact that you are saying a final good-bye, a chapter is closing – it’s a reminder that our relationships to lovers, friends, fa-mily and places are what really define our human experience … we basically wanted to wrap that up in a 3 minute pop song!’
