Cures and Curses “No Fun” they started out as a duo in 2017, Cures and Curses is now solo with Aaron providing vocals, guitar and bass while programming synths and drums by himself.   I enjoyed the lyrics and the vocals as they mixed with the heavy beat. Canadian singer-songwriter Mike McKenna Jr. has released a heartfelt new track called “The Town”, second single off his forthcoming album ‘At The Edge of the World’ . This track has that cool vibe that makes you think, such raw emotion. The drums and guitar really bring this song on the home. The lyrics seem a little sad but hopeful at the same time. It’s a good song to chill with. When asked about the track, Mike painted a picture of a coal-mining town that eventually suffered an economic downturn, driving residents to move away to find work. “The town became smaller and quieter. This track is at it’s finest, it’s real and full of talent. The lyrics are their truth, and the music is done excellently. You can’t argue that the rapping is great. This is a track that should be noticed as a good candidate for an award. I liked the video it helped to bring the song to life.
