Chicago’s Holly is here to add some summer soul to your playlist with their new single, ‘Wondering Why’. The track is full of soul and vibrant melodies. The lead singer’s vocals are smooth and really add the emotion to the track. It flows so nicely with the dynamic horns that play in the background. It reminds me of John Mayer or Sam Cooke.
Their debut EP Miss the Feeling comes from a year’s worth of studio work that has melded retro influences with the modern-day musical landscape, and they have fully embraced the moniker. They command attention in any room they are in and brings old school music back for a different generation.
