[tie_index]What is SITW?[/tie_index] [dropcap]S[/dropcap]omething In The Water, a three-day music festival in Virginia Beach, Virginia, was a weekend of celebration, love, and networking. The music festival idea was announced last year to the Virginia Beach city council and after much deliberation, they gave Pharrell the green light. January of this year, Pharrell announced the date that tickets were going to be available for sale. Tickets included three-day general admission as well as VIP. [tie_index]Friday at SITW[/tie_index]

Friday meant the first day of something that would make history. During the day it rained on and off but then the rain became non stop causing SITW to shut down and the local news channels confirmed that SITW would be canceled for the first day. The Something in the Water team then announced that they would give a partial refund back to ticket goers for the loss of nine performances and other activities due to weather. Festival-goers weren’t mad as many thought they would be.
