Rvdical The Kid releases sultry new track titled, ‘Often’ from his sophomore project, ‘Little Planet’. – Reignland

A new project by Beninois-Ghanaian producer, DJ, and artist Rvdical The Kid is here and we couldn’t be more excited. ‘Often’ is the lead single from his new sophomore project, ‘Little Planet’. This smooth new single finds Rvdical collaborating with Canadian-Nigerian rising star Nonso Amadi. The song has such a captivating foundation of melodies that come together to create this late-night vibe for the listener. Nonso Amadi’s vocals with the tone of this track are perfect and sound like butter to the ear. The way he curves the ending of words and makes you feel like he singing directly to you is why this is such an amazing track.

This new full project debuts five years after his seminal debut project Carte Blanche, which has seen his music garner over two million streams as well as critical acclaim and support from the likes of Pigeons & Planes, FACT Magazine, Soulection, Indieshuffle, BandCamp and The Native Magazine.

Speaking about the inspiration behind his Little Planet project, Rvdical says, “this idea of a ‘Little Planet’ just comes from the fact that I was able to create my own world, independent of the real-life and I was able to find these like-minded people who really understood what I was trying to say musically, and who were literally on the same path and journey as me. You have musicians who I work with that have grown to be my family, like AyWy from Australia, who is basically my Indian twin brother, and Maesu, with whom our friendship has grown so much more than the music, as well as Yonkwi, who is slowly now tapping into my world and me into his.

Through our music, I have been able to build strong connections with so many different people across the world, and for me, that’s my ‘Little Planet’ – my whimsical world filled with zany and unique characters that interact with each other in one way or the other. Over the years I’ve met a lot of crazy talented and unique individuals especially via the internet that has all become very key pieces in my universe and has helped me become the artist I am today. We all have our own little planets, my hope for the project is to share with and in turn inspire listeners to connect more with each other, and in their small ways, brighten the corners they inhabit”.
