Kanta Lkeda drops double singles ‘Selfish’ & ‘Bb’ and his vocals are too die for. – Reignland
Vancouver based Japanese artist Kanta Ikeda drops a double-sided single, further exploring his vocals to compliment his producing capabilities. Being known for his instrumental productions, Someone Someone introduces a new sound in his unique arsenal of variety.
Selfish (You) talks about Ikeda’s struggles to commit to a relationship, because of his own self doubt. The humming chorus creates an atmospheric gap between the verses, showcasing Someone Someone’s production.
Bb is more of a love song, as the artist attempts to familiarize himself in a new relationship. The soca rhythms and the acoustic guitar riff on the track will make you feel relaxed, give you the feeling of ease. While the first track noted the commitment difficulties due to insecurities and unwillingness to “fall behind”, the second track invites the listener to experience new love. A project we can all relate to. The two tracks combined create a soothing atmosphere for the listener to loose themselves in.
Listen to the tracks above and leave the artist some feedback in the comments.
