Gold Record shares quarantine visual for, “Dance Where I Want” – Reignland
Pop songwriting trio, Gold Record is back with a new visual for their single,” Dance Where I Want” The band filed it remotely on iPhone in their respective homes, and was compiled and edited by longtime friend Ryan Pettey of Satellite Pictures. I loved the acapella singing at the beginning of this song. I really makes this more of an intimate performance. The video is great to watch as you can see the passion in their performance. The lyrics are incredible and you can tell they put so much into them.
The band’s debut release was the VOLUME ONE EP, released in April 2020 with mixing with additional production by longtime friend and collaborator STRNGS. VOLUME TWO followed in May 2020, mixed by longtime Producer & sonic advisor Aaron Hellam (Black Map, Brilliant Red Lights). VOLUME THREE was released in June 2020 and was mixed by mixing hero Matt Bayles
GOLD RECORD’s latest EP, VOLUME FOUR, drops in September 2020 led by the single for “Affirmations” and video for “Dance Where I Want”. Mixed with additional production by returning collaborator STRNGS, VOLUME FOUR finds GOLD RECORD coming into their stride with a frenetic blend of funky synthesized dance music, live bass, big swells, percussion breakdowns, angelic harmonies, unencumbered bliss, and more crooning. This release sees the band exploring a more pensive mood than previous releases with “Affirmations” and “When You’re Feeling Tired” – songs about working with the feelings of uncertainty and stagnation that were present at this phase of quarantine. Please leave your feedback below.
