drug collabs with Asaiah Ziv to share his dark experiences in ‘More Than I Can Bear’ ahead of new album – Reignland

South Carolina born artist Drug is getting real on his lead single, ‘More Than I Can Bear’ that will appear on his upcoming album. The song speaks on mental health struggles that he personally went through. He shares, “I’ll be sharing resources and investing in mental health initiatives with this release.”. The chill R&B track showcases his ability to be vulnerable on a track and really lets you hear his vocal range. You hear the pain but you also hear the triumph lyrics that he will keep on.

He explains, “I went through a lot in my marriage, lost my dad, and hit rock bottom after losing my job. I went through depression and PTSD. Real struggles. I don’t think I ever thought about ending my life, but I know I was in a dark place and I felt the pain of near suicide when I wrote this song. I am going to be shining a light on mental health struggles especially black mental health issues and pointing my fans to donate to black mental health initiatives.” We need more artist to bring these kinds of things to light. Share your experiences below or just leave some feedback.
