ANGE releases smooth spanish/english track “Take Me Back (ft. Sumatra)” – Reignland
Take Me Back is about getting lost in the moment and wanting to get away from everything; a smooth and spicy latin R&B song that combines Spanish and English. ANGE’s voice characterised by fetching hooks and glossy melodies has been compared to international artists like NAO and Mariah Carey. The song was co-written and produced by the Australians Sumatra.
Direct from Barcelona, via Sydney’s underground RnB scene, Angela Paez known as ANGE is a neo-soul singer-songwriter blending low-key electronic and pop. Drawing comparisons to NAO and KIMBRA with mid 90s influences, ANGE is best known for her captivating vocals and left of centre melodies.
Her debut single “Cuando Va A Acabar” came out last November premiering on Purple Sneakers. The song peaked at #1 in the R&B/Soul iTunes charts in Sweden and was played on FBI radio, 4ZZZ and Triple J Unearthed in Australia, reaching radios in Spain and Italy too.
Her second single was played on MTV Australia, Triple J and covered by blogs such as Life Without Andy, TheMusic.com.au and Amnplify.
